RiverWoods Durham, a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community in Durham, NH, is seeking a Full-Time Server to provide warm, attentive service to residents and guests in our restaurant-style dining rooms. In this role, you'll take and deliver orders, support special dietary needs, and maintain clean, safe, and welcoming dining spaces. Working in a collaborative, mission-driven team, you'll build meaningful relationships with residents while supporting their independence, wellness, and dignity. Prior restaurant or healthcare dining experience is helpful, but we provide training for caring individuals with strong customer service skills. Responsibilities Provide friendly, attentive table service to residents and guests in dining rooms Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into POS system Serve meals and beverages promptly, following dietary and portion guidelines Ensure dining areas are clean, safe, and attractively set before and after meals Collaborate with culinary and nursing teams to meet special dietary needs Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times Assist with room service, events, and catered functions as needed Build positive relationships with residents, supporting dignity and independence Required Skills Table service Point-of-sale (POS) operation Food safety and sanitation Basic nutrition and dietary guidelines Infection control practices Cash handling Communication skills Customer service Time management Teamwork
