Overview Come help us close out the season, weekends into the fall and a few special events. Mostly serving Ice Cream and drinks to visitors and hikers. Spend your weekend days in the sun at the top of the mountain, making people happy! Open from 11am til 4pm until the Castle closes on Oct. 25th, definitely weekends but weekdays if you're available. Must be 16+ Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting delicious ice cream flavors and toppings, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit Operate POS (Point of Sale) system (Square) to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations including processing cash and giving correct change while maintaining accuracy Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitizing counters, utensils, and equipment to adhere to food safety standards Prepare simple food items such as scooping ice cream, assembling sundaes, or serving beverages with attention to quality and presentation Support kitchen staff by assisting with basic food preparation tasks when needed and operating kitchen equipment safely Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the service area Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with food industry operations is a plus Demonstrated ability in food preparation, serving, and food safety management practices Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in retail sales transactions and cashiering procedures Strong time management skills to handle multiple customer orders efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting Join us to create joyful moments for our guests while developing your skills in a lively, supportive atmosphere! $12.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
