The Blue Canoe | Sunapee Harbor, NH $3.27/hour + tips Part-time / Full-time The Blue Canoe is a waterfront seafood restaurant located right in Sunapee Harbor. We're a casual, scratch-kitchen restaurant serving fresh seafood, classic American favorites, local ingredients when available, and a great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and personable server to join our team. Our restaurant is seasonal and can get very busy, especially during the summer and fall, so we're looking for someone who can stay organized, communicate well, and provide great service even when things get hectic. What You'll Do Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS Have a strong knowledge of our menu, daily specials, beer, wine, and cocktails Answer guest questions and make recommendations based on their preferences Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally Check in with tables throughout the meal and make sure guests have everything they need Process cash and credit card payments accurately Maintain a clean and organized dining area and server station Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and other servers Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly Follow responsible alcohol service practices and verify IDs when required Assist with opening and closing side work and other restaurant duties as needed Help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for both our local guests and visitors to Lake Sunapee What We're Looking For Previous serving experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with guests Reliable and punctual Able to multitask and stay organized during busy service Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Able to learn and confidently speak about food and beverage offerings Comfortable using a POS system (Toast experience is a plus) Must be able to safely and responsibly serve alcohol Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods Why Work at The Blue Canoe? Compensation:
