Position Overview The Part-Time Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for every guest. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, team-oriented, and available to work both weekdays and weekends. Key Responsibilities Guest Service Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience. Present menus, answer questions regarding food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Deliver food and beverages efficiently while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards. Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary. Dining Room Operations Prepare dining areas before service, including setting and resetting tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service. Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties. Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow team members to ensure efficient operations. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Team Support Work collaboratively with team members to provide seamless service. Assist with banquet, golf outing, wedding, and special event service as needed. Support resort-wide hospitality initiatives and special events. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist in other areas when business needs require. Qualifications Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and carry trays of food and beverages. Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment with varying noise levels. Schedule Requirements Part-time position Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends Availability for evenings, holidays, and special events is required.
