Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables and assist with food handling as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while upholding food safety standards Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse needs gracefully Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy service hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for hospitality shines!
