Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for guest services and a strong understanding of culinary offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well taken care of. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system. Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction. Handle cash register transactions, process payments, and manage tips responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance guest relations and satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Strong math skills for handling cash register transactions and basic calculations. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Familiarity with culinary terms and menu items to provide informed recommendations. Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
