Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating and optimize service flow Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food industry trends to educate guests and recommend pairings Maintain a clean, organized work station in compliance with sanitation regulations and food handling protocols Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in the food industry Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed during shifts Join our team if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
