Ice Cream Server/Cashier Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Ice Cream Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your primary focus will be on serving delicious ice cream treats while ensuring smooth operations at the register and in the workspace. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting ice cream flavors and toppings. Process cash and retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems. Operate cash registers and handle cash processing with basic math skills. Manage food service customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products. Operate kitchen equipment safely to prepare or serve ice cream and related items. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including cleaning counters, equipment, and dining areas. Follow food safety protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for customers and staff. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service to create a positive experience for all guests. Qualifications Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Previous experience in food service or retail sales is a plus but not required. Ability to operate POS systems efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely. Attention to detail and cleanliness in maintaining workspace standards. Friendly attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
