Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, demonstrating expertise in drink service and beverage presentation Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or recommended pairings Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transaction processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting stations, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing payments and managing tabs Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding food preparation and presentation Previous experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail making, or beverage service is highly desirable Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively hospitality setting Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
