Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, demonstrating beverage service expertise Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue Process all sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure timely service Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and handle any special requests or concerns professionally Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or high-volume settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices preferred Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous for understanding menu offerings and food handling procedures Join us to deliver exceptional service that keeps guests coming back!
