Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating service, ensuring a smooth dining experience from start to finish Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, desserts, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue Manage multiple tables effectively by prioritizing tasks, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and attending to guest needs promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas including bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service in a fine dining or casual setting Skills Extensive experience with POS systems for processing sales transactions Proven ability in food service roles with a focus on hospitality, guest relations, and customer service excellence Strong knowledge of beer varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity that supports food presentation and handling standards Excellent communication skills coupled with basic math proficiency for cash handling and processing payments accurately Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is preferred but not required Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences!
