Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate orders using POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process cash and card transactions accurately, including sales transaction processing and handling tips Upsell menu items such as specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and service areas through bussing and sanitation practices Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, cocktails, and menu items based on guest preferences Ensure food safety standards are met during food handling, serving, and sanitation procedures Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including cash handling and inventory checks Foster guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to guarantee satisfaction Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred Proficiency with POS systems is advantageous Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills Culinary experience or food industry background is beneficial for understanding menu components and food safety practices Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and proper serving etiquette Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and some holidays Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
