Job Description
We're looking for a friendly, reliable server to join our team at North Slope Brewing Company. We're a fast paced, team-first environment that values good energy and great service. Must be able to work weekends and one week day
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar/dining
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints promptly
- Complete side work to ensure guest areas are clean and inventory is stocked
- Teamwork is essential, must communicate clearly and support coworkers during busy shifts
- Follow standard procedures for
Experience:
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and making change
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Sales skills to promote menu items and specials
- Proficiency in handling food and beverages safely and hygienically
