Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Shift POS, Resy or OpenTable. Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction. Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision. Upsell menu items and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; fine dining experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills. Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is required. Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, serving, cashiering, and host/hostess duties enhances your candidacy.
