Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation systems Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while explaining daily specials and beverage options Clear tables efficiently, bus tables to maintain cleanliness, and reset for incoming guests following sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any guest needs or concerns effectively Skills Proven experience in food service roles host/hostess or busser within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle inquiries professionally Ability to manage multiple tables or tasks simultaneously through effective time management and organization skills Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedure Food handlers required for both positions, host/hostess will also require responsible alcohol certification.
