Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options Take accurate orders using POS system Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat visits Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong foundation in hospitality and guest relations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and professionally Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; knowledge of food safety standards essential Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting Experience with bussing tables, host/hostess duties, cashiering, and sanitation practices is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences through exceptional service, culinary knowledge, and energetic teamwork.
