Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food orders with accuracy using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Process cash, credit card, and digital transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate cash register operations. Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and food handling protocols throughout your shift. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and supporting overall restaurant cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation when needed. Manage customer service inquiries professionally, ensuring positive dining experiences from start to finish. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or café environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in cash handling, processing retail sales transactions, and operating POS systems such as Aloha or Micros. Strong skills in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Basic math proficiency for accurate cash register operations and transaction processing. Knowledge of food industry standards including serving, bussing, sanitation, and food safety protocols. Culinary experience or familiarity with operating kitchen equipment is a plus but not required.
