Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth and welcoming arrival experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality in both casual and fine dining settings Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts with attention to detail Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and beverage options to elevate guest experiences Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales processing Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences!
