Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards to provide expert recommendations Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual dining settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, drink service techniques, and cocktail experience Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales transaction processing Basic math skills for handling bills, tips, and change confidently Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bussing is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences!
