Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly, resetting for new guests, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items like wine pairings or cocktail options, ensuring a memorable dining experience Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining experience is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in order-taking and service delivery Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods Hospitality or restaurant experience preferred; strong communication skills are essential for team collaboration and guest interactions Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences.
