Job Summary:
Vineyard Park Covington is seeking a dedicated and friendly individual to join our dining services team as a server. In this role, you will provide high-quality dining service to residents, ensuring a pleasant mealtime experience while adhering to their dietary needs and restrictions. Key Responsibilities:
Take orders and serve meals in a timely and courteous manner, maintaining a positive and respectful demeanor with residents and guests. Maintain awareness of residents' dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines. Collaborate with dietary staff to address special requests or concerns regarding meals and nutrition. Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals, ensuring the space is tidy, organized, and welcoming. Assist residents who may need additional support during meals, such as carrying trays or understanding menu options. Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about resident care plans and updated dietary requirements.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude. Ability to follow detailed instructions, especially regarding dietary restrictions and food handling procedures. Dependability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic. Experience in customer service or food service is a plus.

We look forward to welcoming you to our team! Responsibilities Serve meals efficiently and courteously to residents or guests, adhering to dietary requirements and special instructions. Assist with food preparation tasks, including plating, and portioning under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by bussing tables, cleaning surfaces, and resetting tables promptly. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, following all sanitation and food safety protocols. Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques, manual handling procedures, and adhering to workplace safety guidelines. Support the dietary department by assisting with meal assembly, food production, and inventory management as needed. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately to ensure safety for yourself and others during all tasks. Engage in heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when moving supplies or equipment to prevent injury. Follow all sanitation procedures for cleaning dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and food preparation areas to maintain high hygiene standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely service delivery while maintaining a positive attitude. Experience Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with food production, meal service, or dietary aide responsibilities enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Knowledge of kitchen operations including operating kitchen equipment, sanitation practices, and food safety standards and compliance is advantageous. Experience working with geriatric patients or in environments requiring adherence to dietary requirements demonstrates your ability to handle specialized needs. CPR certification and understanding of workplace safety protocols are beneficial for ensuring a safe environment for all team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics is essential for handling supplies and equipment effectively.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
