Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve beverages responsibly, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area to uphold sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy hours Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including fine dining options, cocktails, wine lists, and specialty drinks Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience Follow all food handling protocols and safety procedures to ensure guest safety at all times Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes Culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus for understanding food preparation processes Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a fast-paced hospitality environment Join us as a vital part of our team where your passion for hospitality will shine!
