We are currently accepting applications for restaurant servers to bring their talents to Me & Julio in Fitchburg, WI. We're seeking applicants with great communication skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional service. We are seeking candidate with morning & night availability, with weekends and some holidays as needed. Servers are the facilitators of a unique and personalized guest experience. Excellent customer service is a cornerstone of our business, and you are an important link between our operation and guests who dine with us. You are the creator and curator of memorable and enjoyable guest visits, utilizing interpersonal skills, time management and multitasking. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to: Greet guests promptly upon arrival in a genuine manner and appropriately tend to your guest to define their experience expectations. Learn the menu comprehensively, so you can convey information to guests in an understandable and approachable manner. Accurately take drink and food orders and properly enter them into our POS system. Check in with your guests at appropriate points of service and perform proper table maintenance at all times. Help run food and bus tables. Teamwork makes the dream work! Maintaining cleanliness of your section and helping others as needed. Anticipate and exceed your guests' expectations. Use positive communication skills at every opportunity. Keep management informed of potential or immediate problems. Be a dependable employee to management and your coworkers. Present bills and collect payments accurately and in a timely manner. Clean, stock and maintain workstation throughout shift and complete your assigned side work. Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift bus tubs and trays frequently weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees.
