Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Security/ Safety Manager, performs duties to ensure the protection, security and safety of MGRMC property as well as the security and safety of patients, visitors and employees. Required Qualifications Must be at least18 years of age. Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent. 2 years' previous experience in security, law enforcement and/or military. The ability to understand written and oral instructions; and the ability to investigate and write concise, and well thought out reports. Ability to read, understand and follow safety and regulatory guidelines. Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form. An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management. Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance. Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job. Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds. Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency. Preferred Qualifications Associates degree in criminal justice, fire, medical or related field. One-year computer skills with word processing programs, internet, e-mail and spreadsheets. Previous computer experience or other related electronic records systems.
