Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our team! Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and efficiently using Paycom system, ensuring timely delivery of wages and deductions. Assist HR in administering employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellness initiatives. Maintain and update payroll records within HRIS platform. Ensure compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and labor standards by staying current on legal changes affecting payroll and benefits. Reconcile payroll accounts through detailed analysis of spreadsheets and accounting software; prepare journal entries for financial reporting purposes. Handle confidential employee information with integrity while managing data entry tasks related to payroll processing and benefits administration. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to perform account reconciliations, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger adjustments related to payroll expenses. Support audits by preparing documentation on payroll tax filings, governmental reporting requirements, and internal controls. Assist employees with inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies, tax issues, or benefits questions promptly and professionally. Experience Proven experience in payroll management within a corporate environment; familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, or Paycom is preferred. Strong understanding of employment law, labor regulations, and payroll tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS platforms, time & attendance systems, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Enertia). Experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality while managing complex data entry tasks accurately. Knowledge of governmental accounting standards related to payroll reporting is preferred but not required. Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret financial data effectively for reconciliation and reporting purposes. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $97,500.00 per year
