Pacific Staffing is partnering with our Yolo County, CA based client to identify a Benefits Supervisor to lead the strategic administration, compliance, and delivery of employee health and welfare benefit programs across the U.S. and Australia. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable benefits professional who excels in regulatory compliance, vendor management, plan design oversight, and employee support. The Healthcare Benefits Supervisor will manage core health and welfare programs, oversee statutory leave administration, lead open enrollment, support cost-control initiatives, and supervise a Benefits Specialist to ensure operational excellence and a high-quality employee experience. Salary $95K-$110K per (DOE)
Hybrid- Yolo County Responsibilities:
Manage and administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and wellness benefit programs.
Lead annual open enrollment planning, communications, and system updates.
Partner with brokers, carriers, TPAs, and consultants to ensure compliance and plan effectiveness.
Lead Benefits Committee meetings and support benefit-related budgeting.
Monitor benefit trends, utilization, and costs; recommend plan design changes.
Ensure compliance with ACA, HIPAA, CCPA, and other federal/state regulations.
Coordinate and file IRS Form 5500 and other required documentation.
Prepare employee benefit communications and training.
Oversee FMLA, ADA, PTO, and other leave programs.
Supervise and coach Benefits team members.
Maintain organized, confidential benefit files and documentation.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance to ensure accurate benefit processing.
Support special projects, SOP development, RFPs, and workflow improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.5+ years of experience in benefits administration or leave administration.
Strong knowledge of health and welfare regulations and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and maintain confidentiality.
CEBS, World at Work, or similar certifications a plus.
Strategic planning and analytical judgment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High professionalism, integrity, and organizational discipline.
Ability to lead, coach, and collaborate across teams.
