Business Development Manager - Healthcare | $60K Base + Uncapped Compensation | $100K+ Achievable Hallmark Homecare - 3.8 Raleigh-Durham, NC Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $110,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Unlimited paid time off Paid time off Qualifications Account development Territory management Prospecting Sales strategy Account management Full Job Description Hallmark Homecare - North Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill Full-Time | Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC | Q1 2027 Start We've built significant momentum at Hallmark Homecare over the past two years. Now we're looking for an exceptional, disciplined and results-focused Business Development Manager to help us build what comes next. This is not a marketing role . We are looking for a proven healthcare or senior-care business developer who knows how to build genuine professional relationships, open doors, develop strategic referral partnerships and turn those relationships into measurable growth. The right person knows the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill healthcare and senior-care market and, ideally, already has strong professional relationships across hospitals, rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, hospice, home health, care management, physician practices and other professional referral sources. What You'll Do You will be responsible for developing and growing professional referral relationships throughout the Triangle, with a clear focus on generating sustainable new client opportunities for Hallmark.
You will:
Identify, develop and grow strategic professional referral relationships throughout Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding communities. Build relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations whose patients, residents or clients may benefit from Hallmark's caregiver recruitment and referral services. Create new referral channels rather than simply maintain inherited accounts. Develop and execute a disciplined territory and account-development strategy. Represent Hallmark professionally within the healthcare and senior-care community. Work closely with our General Manager and leadership team to ensure referral partners receive responsive, professional communication. Track referral activity, opportunities, conversions and measurable business generated through the relationships you develop. Help strengthen Hallmark's reputation as a trusted resource for families navigating complex caregiving situations. What We're Looking For A minimum of 5 years of successful business development, sales or professional referral-development experience in healthcare, senior care or a closely related field is required. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate: A documented history of achieving or exceeding growth targets. Professional referral relationships they personally developed — not simply accounts they inherited. Measurable business growth generated from those relationships. Strong knowledge of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill healthcare and senior-care market. The ability to build credibility with healthcare executives, clinicians, care managers, social workers, senior-living professionals and other referral partners. Strong prospecting, relationship-development and follow-through skills. Excellent communication skills and executive presence. A high degree of personal accountability, discipline and integrity. An established Triangle professional referral network is strongly preferred. We are interested in results, not activity. Be prepared to show us what you've built. But how you achieve those results matters just as much. We are a heart-centered company , and we want someone who genuinely cares about making a positive impact on the families and communities we serve. Compensation $60,000 base salary + generous, uncapped performance-based compensation. $100,000+ total annual compensation is achievable for a proven producer, with no cap on upside. Our compensation structure is designed to reward the creation of meaningful, retained and profitable new business . Exceptional performers who consistently generate significant growth can earn materially above $100,000. This is an opportunity for someone who wants their earning potential to be directly connected to the value and growth they create. Benefits & Flexibility Unlimited paid time off (PTO) Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel Field-based role with home-office flexibility Flexible, entrepreneurial work environment built around accountability and results Hallmark Homecare does not currently offer employer-sponsored health insurance About Hallmark Homecare Hallmark Homecare of North Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill is a growing caregiver recruitment and referral business focused on connecting families with experienced caregivers and helping families find the right caregiver match for their individual needs. We launched in 2024 with a simple objective: build a different kind of caregiver recruitment and referral business — one centered on relationships, responsiveness, continuity and doing the right thing for families. We have grown significantly since then and believe we have an enormous opportunity ahead of us across the Triangle. For the right person, this is an opportunity to join a growing business at an important stage and play a meaningful role in building what comes next. How to Apply A current resume and specific cover letter are required. Applications submitted without both will not be reviewed. Please submit your most recent resume along with a concise cover letter specifically addressing: Your healthcare or senior-care business development experience. The types of professional referral relationships or channels you have personally developed . One specific growth target you personally owned and the measurable result you achieved. Your existing familiarity with the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill healthcare and senior-care market . We are not looking for a generic cover letter. We want to understand what you personally built and the results you produced. To apply, email your most recent resume and cover letter to with the subject line "2027 Business Development Manager." Applications that do not include both requested documents and address the requirements above will not be reviewed. If you are a proven healthcare business developer who knows the Triangle, builds trusted relationships and wants the opportunity to directly participate in the growth you create, we would like to hear from you.
