Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to support essential HR operations for an education-focused organization in North Carolina. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative precision with people-centered support across the employee lifecycle. The person in this role will help manage recruitment coordination, employee onboarding and separation processes, and compliance-related tasks while working with Microsoft Office tools and HR systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate new employee setup and employee departure activities, ensuring each step is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Review incoming resumes, identify candidates with relevant experience, and route profiles to hiring leaders for further consideration.
  • Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and employment offer processes.
  • Maintain employment records and HR documentation within HRIS platforms and related administrative systems.
  • Process background screening and employment verification activities, including E-Verify requirements.
  • Support compliance practices by helping track and uphold Title IX-related documentation and HR standards.
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across benefits coordination, employee records, and general office functions.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications to prepare reports, manage spreadsheets, draft correspondence, and organize HR information.
