We offer a full range of services for clients with Orthopaedic problems, work-related injuries, sports injuries, and various Orthopaedic conditions. We strive to provide quality care to our patients, a warm work environment where patients and employees can prosper. We're looking for an enthusiastic and trustworthy administrative professional who is prepared to help OMGTB achieve its organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be providing clerical assistance to the Human Resources department of OMGTB and surgery center.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
Must have knowledge of the mission, vision, values, and commitments of the Orthopaedic Medical Group of Tampa Bay. Knowledge of the following is required: Principles of customer service, solid problem-solving skills, self-motivated and self-directed, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
High School Degree/GED Required. Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Training:
Previous clerical, secretarial, and human resources experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome candidates and new hires with a positive attitude. Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, and issuing visitor badges. Answer, screen, and forward incoming Human Resources related phone calls. Assist with candidate screening calls, and scheduling interviews for both OMGTB and the surgery center. Assists the Human Resources department with the new hire process to include building onboarding folders, data entry, contacting applicants, and additional tasks as assigned. Assists with employee orientation and onboarding process alongside the HR Generalist. Assists with payroll review, audits, and communication with staff. Respond to employees' inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Assist with maintaining employee records and I-9 documentation. Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions to support the HR department. Assist with coordinating employee recognition programs and social committee events. Comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Assist with special projects related to human resources and executive leadership. Work Environment This job operates in a professional clinical and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Ability to work a flexible schedule. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM but may vary based on organizational needs.
