Our premier manufacturing facility in Forest Park, GA—a leader in quality refrigerated dough production—is seeking a dynamic, full-time Human Resources Assistant for our first shift. In this hands-on, on-site role, you will serve as a vital link between operations and talent, supporting positive employee relations, streamlining recruitment and onboarding, assisting with payroll and benefits administration, and helping navigate labor relations within a unionized environment. If you hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), have at least two years of core HR experience—preferably in manufacturing with Workday/UKG Dimensions exposure—and thrive on empowering teams while keeping processes running smoothly, we want to hear from you. salary:
$30 - $34 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4
PMeducation:
BachelorsResponsibilities Interpreting and ing policies, ensuring compliance with standard practices and guidelines related to attendance, paid time off, job transfers, accommodation processes, etc. Supporting the management, implementation and communication of fundamental HR programs, including recognition programs, employee feedback forums, engagement survey action planning, and plant communications Driving positive employee relations by timely and proactively addressing employee inquiries and concerns and supporting investigations. Administering payroll and employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate processing of wages and managing benefits enrollment, adjustments, and inquiries. Managing the site's staffing and recruitment needs, including supporting onboarding and new hire orientation processes. Fostering strong partnerships with operations and production teams to drive business results while ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulations. Contributing to process improvement initiatives and strategic projects at the site level. Assist with labor relations efforts, including contract interpretation, grievance resolution, and collaboration with union representatives to maintain a productive and respectful labor environment.
