Job Description

Company Overview Cirkla develops and manufactures high performance fiber packaging solutions to help global brands reduce plastic in their packaging. We've built a variety of industry-first packaging solutions such as trays for meat, produce and ready meals, dairy tubs, scoops, and more. Role Overview Cirkla is seeking an HR & Admin Manager to run the people operations and site administration for our new US molded fiber lamination facility. You will serve as the site's entire HR presence, from hiring the hourly team through onboarding, benefits, employee relations and day-to-day site administration. As the US business scales, this role is expected to specialize and grow into leading the function. What You'll Do Time administration: Administer time and attendance, handle garnishments and adjustments, and resolve employee queries.
HR operations:
Own hiring for hourly and salaried roles including agency relationships for temp labor, run onboarding and orientation, administer benefits enrollment and leave, maintain employee records and the handbook, and keep I-9, E-Verify and required federal and state postings current.
Employee relations and site administration:
Be the first point of contact for the floor on people's questions, support the Plant Manager on performance and disciplinary matters with proper documentation, and manage office supplies, vendors, visitor access and support for customer and certification audits.
Training and development:
Coordinate new hire and safety orientation, schedule skills and compliance training for the hourly team.
HR compliance and recordkeeping:
Maintain personnel files, leave cases and other required HR filings, and keep workplace policies current with federal and state law.
Facilities and site services:
Coordinate facility upkeep and repairs, manage contracts for office and site services vendors, and support space planning as headcount grows. Ultimately, this person is the glue that holds the plant's people and workplace together - the first call for anything from a new hire's paperwork to a broken AC unit, and the steady hand that keeps the site compliant, audit-ready and running smoothly day to day. Who You Are 3-5 years in HR or people operations, ideally in a manufacturing environment, with meaningful office or site administration responsibility alongside it Practical grounding in US employment compliance: I-9 and E-Verify, FLSA classification, leave administration and required postings Discreet. You will see compensation data and employee issues in the same week, and both stay where they belong. Organized against hard deadlines - payroll cutoffs, benefits open enrollment and compliance filings do not move Experience with an HRIS platform, bilingual English and Spanish, prior HR support for a multi-site or multi-entity organization.
