Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. This role is vital in supporting the organization's human capital management initiatives, ensuring efficient HR operations, and fostering a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR processes, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality. Duties Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever, iCIMS, or SAP SuccessFactors, and coordinating interview schedules. Support onboarding and employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth integration of new hires. Maintain employee records and HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, UltiPro) to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Contribute to performance management initiatives by assisting with employee evaluations and tracking progress. Administer employee benefits programs and support benefits administration tasks. Aid in compliance activities related to employment law, FMLA, workers' compensation, and affirmative action planning. Assist with training & development programs, including scheduling sessions and tracking participation. Support HR department projects such as succession planning, organizational design, and change management efforts. Handle confidential information with discretion while providing excellent communication support across teams. Contribute to payroll processing activities using Kronos or similar systems and ensure accurate data entry for payroll purposes. Requirements Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles with familiarity in employment & labor law compliance. Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, Kronos, UltiPro, or similar platforms; experience with HRIS is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processing, and personnel administration practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data collection and entry tasks. Effective communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels and managing conflict resolution professionally. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while maintaining compliance with legal standards. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis preferred), including Word and Outlook. Experience with recruiting tools such as ATS platforms (iCIMS, Lever) or Oracle HCM is advantageous. Demonstrated project management skills to support multiple concurrent HR initiatives effectively.
