Job Description

Michigan's Adventure is seeking a motivated and people-focused Human Resources Intern to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, associate support, and HR operations. Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you'll help support the associate experience while developing valuable leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This is an internship opportunity for spring and summer of 2027. Responsibilities Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding initiatives. Support new hire orientation and training programs. Help coordinate employee engagement and recognition events. Maintain personnel records and assist with HR administrative tasks. Provide front-line support to associates and answer HR-related questions. Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives. Preferred Majors Human Resources Management Business Administration Organizational Leadership Management Industrial/Organizational Psychology Labor Relations Communications Public Administration HospitalityTourism Management Recreation Management Related fields Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Currently enrolled in a college or university. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
