Assistant Coach, Recruiting Coordinator - Baseball Summary Spring Arbor University is seeking a highly organized, relational, and mission-minded individual to serve as the part-time Assistant Recruiting Coordinator for Baseball . This position will support the Head Baseball Coach and baseball staff in the recruitment and enrollment of prospective student-athletes while contributing to the overall growth and success of the baseball program. The Assistant Recruiting Coordinator will play an important role in identifying and communicating with prospective student-athletes, maintaining recruiting records, coordinating recruiting activities, and helping create a positive experience for prospective student-athletes and their families throughout the recruiting process. This individual should demonstrate a strong commitment to Spring Arbor University's mission and values, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced collegiate athletics environment. Essential Responsibilities Assist the Head Baseball Coach and coaching staff with all aspects of the baseball recruiting process. Identify and research prospective student-athletes who may be a strong fit for Spring Arbor University and the baseball program. Assist with maintaining and organizing the baseball program's recruiting database and prospect lists. Communicate regularly with prospective student-athletes and their families through phone calls, text messages, email, and other appropriate forms of communication. Assist with recruiting correspondence and follow-up to prospective student-athletes. Coordinate and assist with campus visits, game visits, recruiting events, camps, and other recruiting activities. Help provide prospective student-athletes and their families with information regarding Spring Arbor University, the baseball program, academics, campus life, and the admissions process. Work collaboratively with Admissions and other campus offices to help prospective student-athletes navigate the enrollment process. Assist with recruiting evaluations, research, and tracking of prospective student-athletes. Maintain accurate and timely recruiting records and documentation. Assist with the organization and execution of baseball camps and clinics as assigned. Support the baseball coaching staff with various administrative and program-related responsibilities. Represent Spring Arbor University and the baseball program professionally and positively in all recruiting interactions. Comply with all NCAA, NAIA, Crossroads League, Spring Arbor University, and Department of Athletics policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Baseball Coach or Director of Athletics.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build positive relationships with prospective student-athletes, families, coaches, and campus personnel. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to the mission and Christ-centered values of Spring Arbor University.

Preferred:

Collegiate athletics or baseball recruiting experience. Coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level. Experience using recruiting databases, CRM systems, or other recruiting technology. Familiarity with

NCAA/NAIA

recruiting regulations and collegiate athletics operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of individuals. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective student-athletes and families. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a coaching staff. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other common technology platforms. Ability to represent Spring Arbor University and its mission with professionalism and integrity. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required by recruiting activities and the baseball schedule.
