Job Description

Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and Team Members relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate level HR Team or Operations Management. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Provides clerical support to the HR department. May assist with benefit and payroll functions including processing/submission, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks. Produces ID badges for new and existing Team Members Conducts or assists with hourly interviews and new hire scheduling, processing and orientation. Assists with planning and execution of events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations. Performs other duties as assigned. Provide clerical support to Human Resources department and maintain HR records for all shift employees; interface with plant employees on HR-related issues. Receives general supervision from Complex Human Resource Manager, handles most routine and non-routine situations independently. Must be able to deal with people to maintain good employee relations. Previous HR and clerical (typing, filing, computer skills, including Word and Excel) experience helpful. Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, some college or HR/labor relations seminars. 1. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. 2. Good manual dexterity. 3. Must be able to work under pressure.
