Job Description

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a Human Resources Role and/or Administrative role required Human Resources degree or certification from accredited college or credentialing organization (SHRM, HRCI, etc.) Human Resources (HR) Create and Coordinate a system to gain efficiency in following up with necessary documentation (such as job descriptions, signed policies, etc.) including SharePoint, Paylocity, and employee tracking spreadsheet Complete Annual 5500 census along with other end of year benefit reports as requested Update all payroll changes in Paylocity and maintain accurate change reflections on employee enrollment update spreadsheet Recruiting/Employment Post all positions internally as well as externally when applicable Initiate email correspondence with applicants and coordinate/update applicant tracking database Complete reference checks on candidates moving forward in the hiring process complete all new hire onboarding Benefit coordination for all employees

  • Conduct benefit audit reviews during exit interview process and follow up with COBRA requirements/coordination Other Perform monthly OIG checks and verifications on Employees and Board of Directors Maintain up-to-date filing and integrity of physical and electronic personnel files
Annual Reviews:

coordinate system of review collection and completing annual update paperwork for personnel files Integrate with and support other NCHC program activities as appropriate Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice Finance Act as NCHCs Purchasing Agent

  • process all purchase orders including registrations, flights, hotels, car rentals and so on Complete monthly OIG vendor checks and verifications as well as new vendor checks as requested by the Finance Coordinator Complete Bi-weekly payroll processing Administrative Represent NCHC as the initial point-of-contact, answering and fielding visitors, phone calls, faxes and emails Assuming the role of "go-to" person to support staff in various functions Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the Directors, including but not limited to drafting letters, memos, reports, scheduling and arranging meetings on behalf of the Directors Board Liaison•Organize, prepare for and attend all meetings to take minutes Organize & Coordinate Lunch and Learns monthly Safety Coordinator•organize safety committee meetings, take minutes, and ensure follow-up to actions items.

Act as incident command in the event of an emergency Incident Reporting Officer

  • Track all reportable incidents and submit all applicable annual OSHA reporting forms Employee Appreciation Ambassadors Coordinator
  • organize meetings, take minutes, and assure follow up to actions items including the Sunshine Baskets for staff Maintains office key inventory and coordinates access/inventory changes with Director of data,
Technology and Innovation Work Environment:

Physical activity demands include regular requirements for standing, walking, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and ability to use hands to control objects such as keyboards and telephones. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer. The position does not normally involve exposure to biohazards or other materials for which universal safety precautions apply. Reliable transportation to perform essential functions of the job and proof of automobile insurance coverage, per NCHC policy is required. Assist with NCHC annual Staff Retreat and Annual Meeting Other duties as assigned: Run errands, such as post office and local stores as well as participate in special department projects as requested

Pay:

$45,000.00

  • $55,000.
