Job Description

Job Overview The company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Clerk to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance across the organization. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help foster a positive workplace environment, streamline HR processes, and contribute to our strategic talent management initiatives. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful impact on our workforce. Duties Communicate with staffing agencies to fill open positions and schedule interviews. Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires. Maintain accurate employee records and manage data entry in HR systems such as ADP, LMS and/or excel sheets. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and answering benefits questions. Support performance management by collecting evaluation data and assisting with training initiatives. Ensure compliance by maintaining required HR documentation. Assist employees with completing HR forms. Support Operations by updating rosters and attendance sheets. Contact and follow up with employees regarding attendance issues. Serve as a liaison between employees and the HR department, handling all confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Requirements Proven administrative experience, preferably in HR or personnel administration. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis. Familiar with payroll systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Knowledge of benefits administration and workforce management. Experience with data entry, report generation, and conflict resolution. Professional phone and email etiquette. Strong customer service experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods and use hands to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must be able to bend up and down repeatedly. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee may be required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment The characteristic of work environment is fast-paced, physical and team focused. Periods of of work time is spent in a non-climate-controlled warehouse where temperatures are hot or cold (seasonally).
Schedule:
Mon to Fri 7:00am to 3:30pm. Weekend and OT as needed.
