West Orange, NJ Job Details Full-time $22 - $24 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Administrative experience Driver's License Full Job Description About the role We're looking for an adaptable HR professional to own our onboarding, offboarding, and training compliance processes, and to support our HR team. This is a fully on-site position based at our West Orange office, with occasional local travel to our program sites as needed. Remote or hybrid work is not available. Fulltime, at 40 hours a week; 9 - 5 pm. This is a benefits-eligible term position. It will be reassessed at 9 - 12 months, with the opportunity to convert to a regular role based on performance and business needs. Our HR department is growing, and this role will grow with it. We're looking for someone who enjoys shifting priorities within HR and is energized by building processes, not just following them. What you'll do Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including termination workflows, final pay coordination with Payroll, benefits termination and notices, asset and access recovery, and exit interviews Coordinate and track new hire training, annual certifications, and role-specific compliance requirements Maintain accurate employee data in UKG Ready. Audit records for job titles, pay rates, FLSA status, cost centers, locations, and supervisors, and correct discrepancies. Generate and review reports for audits across NJ and FL operations Support employee relations documentation and investigations as directed Provide general HR support across benefits, payroll coordination, leaves of absence, and policy questions, and assist the HR team as a cross-trained backup, as needed. Administer the Employee of the Month, Employee Recognition, and Meet-and-Greet programs Assist with system testing and configuration changes, and escalate data integrity risks and trends to HR leadership Travel occasionally to local program sites to support onboarding and training compliance Take on additional HR responsibilities as the role and department evolve, when asked by the Director of Human Resources What you bring 1+ year of HR or HR-adjacent administrative experience (a Bachelor's in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred ) Working knowledge of HR compliance, onboarding, training administration, and employee lifecycle processes preferred HRIS experience preferred (UKG Ready is a plus) Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional presence with employees and leaders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

comfortable adapting as responsibilities shift, with a real willingness to learn A get-it-done mindset and strong time management Ability to facilitate trainings and communicate clearly with diverse audiences Discretion with confidential information Behavioral health, healthcare, or human services experience preferred Requirements Ability to work fully on-site at our West Orange, NJ office Punctuality and regular, reliable attendance are essential functions of this position Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local travel between program sites Successful completion of required background checks (e.g., CHRI, CARI) after a conditional offer Benefits This position is eligible for the same benefits as our regular full-time employees, including health/dental/vision, retirement plan, PTO, FSA, Commuter and supplemental benefits.
