Job Description

Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

LAB-Computer Room Position Summary Summary:

The Central Processing Clerk is responsible for ensuring proper specimen identification, receipt of laboratory specimens and distribution of the specimens to the appropriate department.

Qualifications Responsibilities:

Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience And Skills Speaks, reads and writes English No experience necessary but must train under the direction of the Supervisor or experienced computer clerk.

License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information:

Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn May sit for prolonged periods of time. Exposure to biohazardous materials.
