Bilingual Recruiting Coordinator | Akron, OH | $18 - $20 per hour plus commission and benefits We are hiring a Recruiting Coordinator for our Akron office. You will be the person who finds the right people, gets them to work, and keeps them working. In our business that is the whole job, and we treat it that way. What you will do Source candidates through Indeed, job boards, referrals, social media, community organizations, job fairs, and old fashioned networking Screen, interview, and reference check candidates for light industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, and skilled trade roles Run onboarding start to finish: applications, I-9 and E-Verify, background and drug screening, safety orientation, and first day instructions Communicate with associates in English and Spanish, including orientations, work instructions, pay questions, and employee relations Manage a high volume of open orders and keep fill rates and start rates where they need to be Make redeployment and retention calls: first day check-ins, week one follow-ups, and staying ahead of no-call no-shows Keep the ATS clean and current so the branch is working off accurate data Build a bench so we are not starting from zero every time a client calls with a same-day order What we are looking for Required Bilingual, fluent in speaking, reading, and writing. This is a core requirement of the role because a large share of the workforce we recruit, onboard, and support does not speak English as their first language 1 or more years in recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, social services, or community outreach Consistent work history and dependability. This job runs on follow-through Comfort on the phone and in person with high volume outreach Basic computer skills: applicant tracking systems, email, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation Preferred Staffing agency or light industrial recruiting experience Familiarity with an ATS such as Bullhorn, Avionte, or TempWorks Ties to the Akron area community, including churches, community centers, OhioMeansJobs Summit County, or local organizations Experience recruiting into the manufacturing and distribution corridors along I-76, I-77, and Route 8, including Barberton, Green, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Tallmadge, and Canton Experience running orientations or onsite support at a client location Who does well here Some of our strongest recruiters came in with zero staffing experience and outworked people who had been doing this for a decade.
