Pay Rate:
$50,000 - 60,000/yr.
DOE Description:
The Human Resources Administrator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function at Client. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance activities, and employee communications. The Human Resources Administrator serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers while supporting a positive workplace culture and ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable employment laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
Coordinate recruitment activities for salaried and hourly positions. Post job openings, review applications, and schedule interviews. Communicate with candidates, recruiting agencies, and hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Prepare offer letters and employment documentation. Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
Employee Records and HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR records. Process employee status changes, including hires, promotions, transfers, salary changes, and terminations. Manage data entry and reporting within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Prepare employment verification letters and other employee-related documentation. Ensure employee files meet company and legal record retention requirements.
Payroll and Benefits Support:
Coordinate employee information changes with payroll processing. Assist with payroll audits and reconciliation activities. Support benefits administration, enrollment, and employee communications. Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and procedures. Liaise with benefit providers and payroll vendors as needed.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Serve as an HR resource for employees and supervisors regarding routine HR matters. Assist in the administration of employee recognition and engagement programs. Support performance management and employee development initiatives. Help coordinate company events, employee meetings, and training activities. Promote a positive and professional work environment aligned with Rieter's values.
Compliance and Reporting:
Assist with compliance reporting and HR audits. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain required employment documentation, including I-9 records. Support workers' compensation administration and employee leave tracking. Assist with immigration documentation and international HR coordination when applicable. Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, and other HR metrics. Training and Development Coordinate employee training schedules and records. Track required compliance and safety training completion. Assist with leadership development and organizational training initiatives. Support learning and development programs in collaboration with local and global HR teams.
Qualifications:
Education Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Experience Three to five years of Human Resources, Payroll, or Administrative experience preferred. Experience supporting a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of HR administration principles and employment practices. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and HR technology platforms. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout office. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.

Head of Human Resources Preferred Competencies:
Experience working within a global organization. Knowledge of payroll administration and benefits administration. Familiarity with manufacturing workforce planning and staffing. Understanding of employment law compliance, workers' compensation, and leave administration. Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
