Human Resources Assistant,PAS / Home Care / Medical Staffing First Light Home Care -

Tomball, Texas Pay:

$20.00-$23.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience FirstLight Home Care is seeking a professional, organized, dependable, and experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in Personal Assistance Services (PAS), WellSky software, and medical staffing who understands the daily operations of a busy home care agency. Key Responsibilities Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding caregivers and CNAs. Coordinate caregiver scheduling, medical staffing, and client coverage. Utilize WellSky for scheduling, documentation, and employee management. Maintain employee personnel files, credentials, and compliance documentation. Assist with background checks, orientation, training, and employee records. Monitor staffing needs and assist with call-outs and schedule changes. Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, families, and management. Support HR operations and ensure compliance with agency policies and Texas PAS requirements. Assist with general office administration and daily operational needs. Required Qualifications Previous experience working in a PAS or home care agency. Experience using WellSky software . Experience in medical staffing and caregiver scheduling. Knowledge of caregiver recruitment and onboarding. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional appearance and positive demeanor. Ability to work independently and handle confidential information. Strong computer and administrative skills. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish. Experience with ADP or similar HR software. Knowledge of Texas HCSSA regulations. CNA or previous caregiving experience. Previous experience as an HR Assistant, Staffing Coordinator, or Home Care Office Coordinator.
