Recruiter / HR Assistant Central Storage & Warehouse (CSW) is the premier provider of third-party refrigerated warehousing services in the Midwest and a top-15 cold storage provider in North America. We are looking for an organized, people-focused Recruiter who loves finding great people and helping them succeed. We are regularly hiring warehouse associates, maintenance technicians, and customer service representatives across five facilities, and you'll be the person who makes that hiring engine run. You'll be the first conversation most candidates have with CSW, you'll decide who moves forward, and you'll stay connected to every new hire through their first 90 days.

•Friday, business hours. Fully remote, hybrid, or in-person, and are all possible for this position. If in-person, you will work from our Franksville, WI facility. What you'll own: Recruitment and Screening. Help attract candidates through job boards, social media, and employee referrals. Review applicants, conduct phone screens and initial interviews, and assess whether candidates fit our people first, team-based, service-oriented values, not just whether their resume checks the boxes. You'll be the primary point of contact for applicants to our hourly warehouse and office positions. Project manage the hiring pipeline. Own the hiring pipeline across all five facilities. Track every candidate's status from phone screen, to in-person interview, to offer, drug/background checks, and I-9 completion, and keep GMs and HR informed so no candidate and no open seat falls through the cracks. Prepare and file new-hire paperwork, and assist with onboarding. Partner with operations. Work directly with General Managers and HR to understand staffing needs, schedule interviews and orientations, and coordinate a smooth start for new hires. Own the first 90 days. Conduct 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins with every new employee. Find out what's working, what isn't, and whether they're set up to succeed, and raise issues to the HR team early. Provide support to HR. Enter new employees into payroll, create and audit employee files. Support salary research, company events, and other HR projects as needed. What we're looking for: 2+ years of HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition experience, ideally supporting high-volume hourly hiring in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing Working knowledge of hiring compliance, including I-9s, background checks, and EEO practices Strong organization and follow-through; you can manage dozens of candidates at different stages at once and always know where each one stands Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with candidates, employees, and managers alike Comfort with technology and HR systems, including applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, Indeed, and a willingness to learn new tools, including AI tools, quickly A self-starter who works well independently with minimal supervision
