HR Administrator

Job Description

We're looking for a reliable, organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our company. This position will work closely with the HR department to support recruiting, employee administration, onboarding and oversee daily office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in Human Resources and recruiting, while supporting a wide range of HR activities.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with recruiting by sourcing qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other recruiting platforms
  • Update and maintain job postings on company websites and recruiting platforms
  • Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Conduct employment reference checks
  • Assist with the employee onboarding process and related pre-employment requirements
  • Attend monthly safety meetings and maintain attendance records
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate department or employee
  • Assist with employee communications, office functions, and other HR-related projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting or talent acquisition is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work and manage time effectively
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Professional demeanor, along with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, customers, vendors and other employees of the organization, which requires excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
Location:
Temporarily based in Wauwatosa, WI (moving to Glendale, WI upon completion of renovations)
