Job Summary Supports the mission of St. Vincent de Paul by directing and coordinating human resources activities of the organization according to all laws and policies and providing administrative and financial support. This is a full-time position with an expected start date of mid-November. General Accountabilities
- Ensure new employees and volunteers receive: Orientation, job descriptions, required forms, policy information, safety training and introduction to organizational mission and values.
- Develops job postings, coordinates recruitment, screens applicants, coordinates interviews, supports hiring decisions, and maintains applicant records for non-manager employees.
- Maintain appropriate personnel records including applications, employment documents, training records, performance evaluations, disciplinary documentation and required certifications.
- The HR Manager assists with workplace conflicts, employee concerns, harassment complaints, workplace conduct, performance issues, mediation and corrective action.
- Inform new hires of the company benefits offered.
- Coordinates with insurance representative(s) to make sure benefits are distributed accurately and correctly.
- Develop an annual employee training program including customer service, de-escalation, safety, confidentiality, leadership, respectful workplace practices, emergency procedures and SVdP mission.
- HR helps coordinate performance evaluations, goal settings, manager coaching, performance improvement plans and leadership development.
- HR assists departments with volunteer recruitment, screening and policies, orientation, training, recognition and retention.
- Additional financial responsibilities, mainly data entry and documentation of financial transactions.
- Serves as an office assistant providing administrative support.

Executive Director and Board of Directors Job Qualifications Education:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in
Human Resources or Business Management Experience:
Three to six months related experience and/or training or; Equivalent combination of education and experience Skills
