Job Description
An established manufacturing organization is looking for a hands-on HR Manager to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations and serve as a trusted partner to both leadership and employees.
This is not a purely corporate HR position. You'll be closely connected to the operation, supporting an hourly workforce while partnering with managers on employee relations, compliance, recruiting, performance management, and workforce planning.
What You'll OwnServe as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managersLead day-to-day HR operations for the organizationManage employee relations matters, investigations, and corrective actionsPartner with leadership on performance managementOversee recruiting and hiring for hourly and professional positionsDevelop and maintain onboarding programsEnsure employee records and HRIS information remain accuratePartner with payroll on timekeeping, employee changes, and payroll issuesAdminister benefits and respond to employee questionsDevelop and update HR policies and proceduresMonitor compliance with federal, state, and California employment regulationsCoordinate required employee trainingTrack employee retention, turnover, attendance, and other HR metricsAssist with workforce planning and organizational developmentSupport managers with coaching and employee performance concernsManage employee leave and accommodation processesMaintain accurate and confidential HR documentationIdentify opportunities to make HR processes more efficient and scalable
