Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Position Overview Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all Human Resources functions. Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to build a high-performing, service-driven culture. Ensure HR practices support exceptional member service, employee engagement, retention, and operational excellence. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Director of Human Resources Key Responsibilities Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation. Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbook, and HR systems. Partner with department leaders on staffing, workforce planning, performance management, and employee development. Manage employee relations, investigations, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns. Oversee payroll, benefits, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and HR administration. Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, training, and professional development initiatives. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on effective leadership and people-management practices. Monitor compensation, turnover, staffing levels, and other HR metrics. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional hospitality. Director of Human Resources Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in luxury member-owned private country clubs. Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and performance management. Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams. Excellent communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong HRIS and technology experience. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
