Job Description

Established in 2007, Boise Hunter Homes is one of the Treasure Valley's premiere move-up home builders, developing unique and exciting communities from the Foothills to South Meridian. With innovative product lines and large land positions in incredible locations, we take pride in building the best homes in the area! Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of service to our buyers, in a fun, challenging, and rewarding work environment. We are seeking an experienced, adaptable, and people-focused HR Manager to lead and support our Human Resources function. This role requires exceptional people skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. The HR Manager will work directly with ownership and department heads to understand the operational needs of the business and develop people strategies that support those goals. This individual will be responsible for helping drive employee retention, hiring, performance, and engagement while also serving as a trusted resource for leadership and employees. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable addressing day to day employee and operational needs while maintaining a strategic perspective on the company's long term goals, culture, and growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
Hiring and Onboarding:
Lead recruitment, interviews, and onboarding processes to bring in top talent
Networking:
Build and maintain a strong professional network to develop relationships with potential candidates, industry professionals, community organizations, and other talent sources.
Compensation and Benefits :
Make recommendations for benefits package including insurance, time off, and other benefits packages. Analyze compensation for staff and make recommendations to department managers
Operations:
Partner directly with ownership and department heads to align HR strategies with operational and company goals
Culture :
Lead initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
Policy and Compliance:
Develop and maintain company policies while ensuring employees follow such policies. Ensure company policies follow local, state, and federal labor laws
Performance Management:
Oversee performance reviews, goal setting, and staff development programs.
Employee Development:
Assess organizational needs and implement development programs to enhance employee capabilities, including training and leadership development. What you bring to the table: A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, along with 5-10 years experience.
Communication:
Exceptional listening, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities
Industry Knowledge:
New Home Construction and Real Estate industry knowledge and established relationships is a plus.
Legal Knowledge:
Strong grasp of employment laws and regulatory compliance. 401
K Knowledge:
experience administering a 401K plan with an understanding of regulatory compliance elements Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
