Agency Manager - Home Care Paducah KentuckyI Full-Time | Management Position Overview An established and growing home care organization is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Agency Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a local home care office. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring exceptional client care, developing and supporting caregivers, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, driving operational performance, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is comfortable balancing people, operations, client relationships, and business growth. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates effectively, solves problems quickly, and creates a culture of accountability and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the agency. Lead, coach, develop, and hold office staff and caregivers accountable to performance expectations. Ensure clients receive dependable, compassionate, and high-quality care. Build strong relationships with clients, families, caregivers, referral partners, and community organizations. Oversee caregiver staffing and scheduling to promote consistent client coverage and minimize unfilled shifts. Partner with recruiting and Human Resources to identify staffing needs and maintain an adequate caregiver workforce. Monitor employee performance, attendance, professionalism, and compliance with agency expectations. Respond appropriately to client concerns, caregiver issues, call-offs, scheduling challenges, and other operational needs. Ensure client and employee documentation is complete, accurate, timely, and audit-ready. Maintain compliance with applicable company policies, payer requirements, and state and federal regulations. Participate in client intake, service coordination, and ongoing client relationship management. Identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction, caregiver retention, operational efficiency, and agency growth. Support community outreach, referral development, and local business-development initiatives. Review agency performance metrics and develop action plans when improvement is needed. Foster a professional, positive, accountable, and team-oriented workplace culture. Participate in an on-call or leadership support rotation as required. Perform additional leadership and operational responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:
Previous management or supervisory experience. Experience in home care, healthcare, senior care, staffing, assisted living, social services, or a related industry strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead employees and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage difficult conversations professionally and appropriately. Comfortable working with scheduling, documentation, electronic records, and other business software. Ability to build relationships with employees, clients, families, and community partners. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation as required for local business needs.
