The Office of Equity and School Improvement is dedicated to elevating access and opportunity for all by nurturing an inclusive community. To support this mission as well as the goals of the CCPS Strategic Plan and the CCPS Equity Plan, Equity Liaisons will recruit and form an equity team in the school building. This person will work with his/her team and administration to develop a school action plan, set goals, implement supporting activities, and provide evidence of success.\n

\nAssist building leadership with the creation and implementation of the annual Building Equity Action Plan.\nParticipate in four full day and three after school mandatory District Equity Leadership Team meetings.\nRecruit and chair a school equity team.\nPlan and facilitate a minimum of one equity team meeting monthly.\nProvide school-wide equity professional development that includes mandatory countywide training modules.\nAssist school leadership in analyzing all aspects of the school through an equity lens.\nCreate monthly communications for the school community.\nParticipate with other school committees to establish partnerships that focus on equity-based initiatives meeting the needs of all students.\nSubmit quarterly logs to the District Equity Supervisor in a timely fashion.\nAct as liaison between school leadership and the Supervisor of Equity and School Improvement.\nHold monthly meetings with school leadership.\nFacilitate a minimum of two extension of learning activities outside teacher work hours.\nMaintain constant communication with the Supervisor of Equity and School Improvement.\nSubmit annual evidence and evaluation of equity activities.\n
